Gujarati Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Gujarati Teacher to teach students of grades 6 to 8 as per the GSEB curriculum in a Gujarati medium school. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of the Gujarati language, an understanding of child-centered pedagogy, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Gujarati language and literature to students in grades 6 to 8, as per GSEB syllabus.
• Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and teaching materials.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain academic records.
• Focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and literature analysis.
• Encourage students to develop reading habits and effective written and oral communication in Gujarati.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development workshops.
• Maintain discipline, classroom decorum, and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Gujarati / B.A. with Gujarati as a major subject (Master’s preferred)
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory as per GSEB norms)
• Teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred
• Familiarity with GSEB syllabus and exam pattern
• Strong command over Gujarati grammar, literature, and pedagogy

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
