Job Purpose:

To deliver a high-quality, engaging curriculum while fostering holistic development, discipline, and academic excellence in young learners. The role requires effective classroom management, collaboration with parents, and proactive professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery & Instruction

• Deliver interactive, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the schools curriculum to enhance student performance.
• Prepare and utilize teaching aids (worksheets, PPTs, rubrics, assessments) in a timely manner.
• Integrate

  2 innovative teaching strategies per term

  to improve learning outcomes.

2. Student Performance & Classroom Management

• Maintain

  100% accuracy

  in attendance records (manual + MyClassBoard/MCB).
• Correct notebooks, assignments, and assessments promptly.
• Update

  student records, trackers, and MCB data

  regularly.
• Address discipline/absenteeism issues proactively with the coordinator.

3. Assessments & Reporting

• Prepare students for

  Student-Led Conferences (SLCs)

  through guided reflection.
• Compile progression reports for

  Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs)

  with inputs from subject teachers.

4. Events & Collaboration

• Plan/execute

  class assemblies

  and contribute to school events.
• Guide students for

  Activity Showcases

  and

  Special Days

  .
• Conduct

  Parent Orientation Programs

  to align parents with school policies.

5. Professional Development

• Maintain a

  Learning Journal

  for self-improvement.
• Complete

  Cambridge certification courses

  and engage in regular professional reading.
• Attend workshops/training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  Any Graduate. B.Ed. / D.Ed. (Early Childhood/Elementary Education preferred).

• Experience:

  Prior teaching experience in Grades 1–2 (advantageous).

• Technical:

  Proficiency in

  MCB (MyClassBoard)

  and digital teaching tools.

• Soft Skills:

• Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
• Strong communication (students/parents/team).
• Organizational and time-management skills.
