We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Systems Engineer to design, review, and oversee the implementation of ELV systems, including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, and BMS interfaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements from conception to project handover. Responsibilities: Design and review ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, PA, Access Control, etc.) as per project specs and standards. Prepare system layouts, schematics, and BOQs. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with MEP, civil, and architectural teams for integration. Ensure compliance with NFPA, BS, IEC, and local safety codes. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues. Liaise with vendors and contractors for quality and timely execution. Provide technical support and prepare reports, documentation, and as-built drawings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering. 3+ years in ELV design and execution. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office; ELV software knowledge is a plus. Familiar with NFPA, BICSI, SIRA standards. Strong communication and coordination skills. Key Responsibilities: Review and verify MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and BOQs. Monitor site works for electrical systems (lighting, power, fire fighting, etc.) to ensure compliance with specs. Coordinate with architects, civil, structural, and MEP teams for smooth execution. Assist in cost estimation, tendering, and quantity take-offs for electrical systems. Identify discrepancies in design or site execution and recommend technical solutions. Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes. Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations. Maintain project records, progress reports, and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in MEP design, QS, or site execution. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office; knowledge of QS or project management tools is a plus. Familiar with standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC, DEWA, ASHRAE).
