About The Role
About The Role BPID 2633
The Global MD&I Business Operations Manager is expected to maintain a clear understanding of budget allocations across various categories and conduct an initial assessment of budget requests to ensure they meet the firms preliminary criteria. Additional responsibilities of the role include the following:Budget Tracking and Reporting:
  • Global MD&I budget manager is expected to maintain trackers that are refreshed regularly (e.g., weekly or fortnightly), capturing overruns, underutilization, and commentary for leadership review. The role includes ensuring that budget allocations are not exceeded without prior approvals and that all changes are documented and justified.
  • Should be able to execute
    agile budgeting practices, thereby empowering leads to make faster decision to adapt to the evolving business priorities.
  • Tracking approved hours, manual adjustments in billable trackers, and reporting spend as a percentage of business activity.

  • Cross-functional collaboration:
  • Budget managers often work closely with Product Leads, Investment Management Leads, and Service Area Heads to align financial planning with operational goals.
  • Should be able to
    coordinate with finance teams to report ROI/Value realization goals such as pipeline impact, and sales outcomes.

  • Process Improvement:
  • Should be able to look at process maps and be able to suggest improvements to make process leaner and efficient.
  • A natural flair to make things a person to process driven to reduce human dependency.
  • Ability to use the available GenAI tools to impart efficiency and effectiveness to the tasks at hand.

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Good to have:
    Project and organization management skills
