Game Tester

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile game applications (Android & iOS). Perform end-to-end functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing on mobile games. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and improve test coverage. Analyze and report bugs clearly with detailed reproduction steps and logs using bug tracking tools like JIRA. Validate game updates, patches, and new features before release. Ensure optimal performance and responsiveness across multiple devices and screen resolutions. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Provide test estimates, documentation, and detailed test reports. Preferred candidate profile Masters or bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in mobile or game testing, including 3+ years with Appium. Strong knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and bug reporting. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, and Agile methodologies. Exposure to other automation tools like Selenium, Espresso, or XCUITest. Strong analytical and communication skills. Deep passion for gaming with a solid understanding of game mechanics and user experience.
