Role & responsibilities To work for Global Customer engagement in Design Engineering support activities for New Product design, development and Improvement projects for Telecom, Data center , Energy Storage and industrial products. To Work on projects/assignments (short or long term) such as on CAD Modelling, its detailing, making General assembly drawings (using Solidedge/ Solid works/ Inventor). Should have exposure of working in Electrical panel Enclosure, IT Racks environment. Worked on 3D models, assemblies, GA drawings, and BOM structures. Must also be able to work independently with little guidance. Must have 3D Modelling Design experience . Adherence to project management process set by organization. Being part of Engineering Function, he/she is expected to maintain desired quality & schedule adherence defined by organization and report as per defined communication plan. Preferred candidate profile Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering 6-12 years of experience on Solid edge/ Solid works platform & AutoCAD in Sheet metal domain is a must. Must have good working experience in 3D modelling and detailing work on design platform with experience on generating Bills of Materials. Should also possess relevant experience Working experience on any PLM tools. Agile or PD cloud will be added advantage. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process will be an added advantage. Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organized. Experience in handling large CAD assemblies and managing modifications as required.
