Field Installation Technician – IoT Access Control Systems (DEEE)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Installation Technician with a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) to join our IoT hardware deployment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, wiring, and commissioning our smart access control devices, including integration with magnetic locks and on-site testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation of smart access control devices at client locations.
• Manage electrical wiring, conduit laying, and ensure neat and secure cable management.
• Install and configure magnetic locks and integrate them with IoT-based control devices.
• Conduct soldering or minor PCB-level repair if needed during installation or servicing.
• Perform device mounting, alignment, and connectivity checks.
• Ensure proper packaging and protection of the installed devices.
• Conduct basic testing and validation of device functionality post-installation.
• Provide technical support or troubleshooting on-site if required.
• Maintain installation logs, photos, and reports for each client location.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure a professional client-facing demeanor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) or related field.
• Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, soldering, and hardware installation.
• Basic understanding of IoT devices, relays, magnetic locks, and power systems.
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems (12V/24V DC) and connectors.
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and circuit layouts.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
• Should carry out work independently or in coordination with the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in field installation
• Willing to learn biometric, RFID, or access control systems.
• Should have good practical knowledge of Electrical wiring and Electronic Circuits
• Basic knowledge of networking (Wi-Fi, Ethernet) is a plus.
