Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analyst
Extern Solutions a subsidiary of Branding Arc is looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you'll manage technical audits, implement on-page SEO best practices, and guide our strategy for driving organic traffic across 40+ WordPress websites. This is a hybrid position requiring U.S. working hours (6pm to 2am IST) and direct collaboration with U.S.-based leadership. Role & responsibilities Plan and execute branded SERP saturation strategies, including optimizing for featured snippets, site links, Google Business Profiles, and secondary content placements (e.g., YouTube, third-party listings, citations) Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement improvements Own keyword research and clustering, using SE Ranking , Google Search Console and Keyword Planner Create and maintain SEO strategy documents for all active clients Monitor and improve organic KPIs: rankings, CTR, bounce rate, dwell time, conversions Collaborate with content writers to implement on-page best practices across blogs, landing pages, and service pages Identify and fix crawl issues, redirect chains, indexing problems, and schema markup errors Generate and present monthly SEO reports using our proprietary SEO monitoring technology, combining multiple data sources Stay up to date on algorithm changes and apply insights to maintain rankings Manage SEO implementation across 40+ client sites within WordPress Partner with developers to resolve technical issues and optimize site architecture Implement and manage A/B testing and behavioral tracking using Zoho PageSense and Google Optimize Within 3 months, make impactful contributions to the SEO team and own critical elements of client success Lead off-page authority building backlink audits, digital-PR outreach, brand-mention tracking, and disavow management for reputation-sensitive clients. Optimize Core Web Vitals improve LCP, INP, CLS, and mobile performance across all client sites. E-E-A-T compliancecreate guidelines ensuring content, authorship, and link practices meet Google quality standards. Own structured-data strategy—implement and test schema (FAQ, HowTo, Product, Review) to boost rich-result visibility. Preferred candidate profile 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience in a B2B or agency setting Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and SEO schema Experience optimizing WordPress websites; familiarity with Avada and Yoast SEO is a plus Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript for SEO auditing purposes Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Experience crafting backlinks Working knowledge of Zoho PageSense, Google Optimize, or equivalent Familiarity with E-E-A-T guidelines and content quality frameworks for regulated industries Experience with core SEO tools like SE Ranking, Screaming Frog, and Yoast SEO Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong organizational skills, project management discipline, and the ability to manage multiple client priorities Bachelor’s degree preferred
