Export & Trade Compliance Officer

We are looking for an experienced candidate who is well versed in Export Compliance for North America, Canada & Europe. The candidate will be expected to prepare and submit all documents related to exports and also track their progress. Candidate will also be responsible for preparing and submitting licensing documentation to various departments in India, for procuring licenses required for special manufacturing & storage in India.

Job Profile :

1) Experience in Preparing documentation for applying Export & Import License from DGFT , DDP etc.

2) Should be well versed with online submission process

3) Experience in preparing documents for ITAR, BSI & BAFA submissions

4) Review & Prepare Export Documents & End User Certificates

5) Liaise & follow-up with necessary departments for issuance of licenses

6) Prepare supporting documents for export & import including packing lists, invoices etc.

7) Follow up with various departments for NOC, TL & Other documents as required by the company

8) Follow up with required documents on up coming changes in compliance

9) Prepare documents for Export & Import Audits

10) Regulatory Updates & Guidance to Internal and External stakeholders

11) Research Legal Regulatory requirements

12) Clearance/Processes for Export & Import as per Export Import Control requirements

About the Ideal Candidate

Education Experience:

• Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline preferably Bachelor or Master of Commerce, preferably with experience in international trade, International Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 Years of experience in export compliance or legal support within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience in export compliance or legal support within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Prior experience in working within international environment / teams is

welcome.

Preferred Qualification:

• Any Certification in Export Compliance
• Experience with dual-use goods or defense-related exports

Competencies:

• Proficient in Presentation Skills and MS Office applications
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong in dealing with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
• Any experience in handling international trade in supply chain or purchasing.
