Key Responsibilities

• Design & Visual Production

  Create brochures, flyers, signage, newsletter graphics, posters, digital displays, web graphics, and promotional materials for internal and external audiences

• Medical & Patient Education Materials

  Design infographics, anatomical diagrams, posters, or animations that clarify medical information and support health literacy Virtual Latinos.

• Brand Consistency & Campaigns

  Maintain visual coherence across all communication channels and marketing campaigns in line with the hospitals brand guidelines

• Collaborative Engagement

  Partner with clinical, administrative, marketing, and patienteducation teams to gather design briefs and translate medical content into accessible visuals

• Vendor & Production Coordination

  Work with printers and digital vendors to ensure high-quality output and adherence to technical specifications

• Project Management

  Prioritize and manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations

• Compliance & Accuracy

  Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA or equivalent), legal guidelines, and best practices in medical communication

• Photography & Imaging (if applicable)

  Assist with clinical or event photography, maintain digital media archives, and manage image quality control

Preferred candidate profile

• experience in medical illustration or anatomical diagrams.
  
• Familiarity with accessible design standards for patients (e.g. largeprint, simple icons).
  
• Knowledge of healthcare information governance .
  
• Basic skills in photography or image licensing and asset management.
  
• Experience working in fastpaced healthcare marketing or patienteducation teams.
