ETP Operation Engineer

We are committed to innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility. To support our operations, we are looking for a skilled ETP Operation Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a highly motivated ETP Operation Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of our Effluent Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective treatment of industrial effluents, adhering to environmental regulations and optimizing plant performance. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor all aspects of the ETP, including primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment processes. - Ensure the smooth operation of UF (Ultrafiltration), RO (Reverse Osmosis), and other treatment systems. - Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on ETP equipment, such as pumps, blowers, diffusers, and chemical dosing systems. - Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to effluent quality and plant performance; adjust operational parameters as needed. - Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the operation of the ETP to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. - Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including daily logs, equipment maintenance records, and effluent quality reports. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to wastewater discharge. - Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and optimize plant efficiency. - Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance, calibration, and supply of chemicals and other materials. - Train and mentor junior staff and operators on ETP operations and safety procedures. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in operating and maintaining ETPs, with a focus on UF/RO systems. - Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological treatment, chemical dosing, and membrane filtration. - Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards governing effluent discharge. - Proficiency in using plant monitoring systems, such as SCADA. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience in the wastewater treatment industry, particularly in handling effluents from industrial processes. - Knowledge of electrocoagulation processes and related technologies.
