Role Overview:

WhiteTusker is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician with at least 5 years of expertise in electrical systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of all electrical systems in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in compliance with standards.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using devices like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Perform root-cause analysis for equipment or system failures.
• Project Support:
• Assist in electrical system design and modifications for projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety.
• Collaboration and Reporting:
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to meet project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or certification in electrical systems.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to electrical work.
• In-depth understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
