Electrical Engineer-CIVIL

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other building systems. Conduct site inspections and monitor installation to ensure adherence to plans and regulations. Evaluate and select appropriate materials and components to meet project specifications. Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions during construction. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards. Support project budgeting and scheduling activities as related to electrical work. Participate in value engineering and cost optimization processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress. 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software. Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, IEC, and other applicable standards. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with sustainable or green building practices (e.g., LEED certification). Working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Experience with building information modeling (BIM).
