Electrical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Electrical Design & Drafting:

• Responsible for the design and drafting of

  electrical schematics,

  control circuits,

  panel layouts, and

  wiring diagrams

  using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software.

• Component Selection & Specification:

• Selection and specification of electrical components such as

  relays, contactors, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and

  switchgear

  based on application and customer requirements.

• Panel Design & BOM Preparation:

• Develop control panel designs and generate

  Bill of Materials (BOM)

  for procurement and production.

• Coordinate with the panel fabrication team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

• PLC & HMI Integration:

• Design logic flow for PLCs and prepare HMI screen layouts in coordination with the automation team.

• Standards & Compliance:

• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and safety norms (e.g.,

  IEC,

  IS,

  NEC).

• Project Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation including

  cable schedules,

  load calculations,

  GA drawings,

  control philosophy, and test reports.

• Client & Internal Coordination:

• Collaborate with clients, project engineers, and other departments for design approvals, technical clarifications, and site remote support.

Preferred candidate profile

Education- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Software Skills:

• Proficient in

  AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN (optional), MS Office.

• Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience in control system design, power distribution, and automation.

• Familiar with

  PLC/HMI-based control systems.

• Understanding of electrical standards and protection systems.

Compensation Structure:

• CTC

  will be based on the candidates technical expertise and design experience.

• Two-Phase CTC Structure:

• Initial CTC applicable for the first

  6 months

  (probation/training).

• Revised CTC after review based on performance and contribution.
