Department: Quality Assurance Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products meet the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. The role involves conducting tests, inspections, and audits to verify product quality and compliance with regulatory and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Testing: Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Documentation: Accurately document inspection results, test data, and other relevant information. Prepare reports detailing the findings and recommendations for improvement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Stay updated with changes in quality standards and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and collaborate with other departments to implement effective solutions. Assist in developing and updating quality control processes and procedures. Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including customer complaints and internal defects. Implement corrective and preventive actions. Training: Provide training to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures. Promote a culture of quality awareness within the organization. Audits: Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring that all aspects of the production process meet quality standards. Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. UPDATE IN ERP SYSTEM/SAP B1 Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related role in a manufacturing or production environment. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in quality control software and Microsoft Office applications. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Quality Control, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
