Job Title: Drupal and PHP Developer Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-time Experience: 5 to 8 years Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Drupal and PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end web development using Drupal 8/9/10 and PHP , along with knowledge of modern front-end practices and integration with APIs and third-party services. You will be responsible for designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and custom PHP applications. Key Responsibilities: Drupal Development: Develop custom modules, themes, and templates in Drupal 8/9/10. Migrate content and functionality from older Drupal versions or other CMSs. Configure core and contributed Drupal modules to match client needs. Implement multilingual and multi-site architecture using Drupal best practices. Integrate third-party APIs and services (REST, GraphQL, etc.) into Drupal. Optimize website performance, security, and scalability. Maintain and troubleshoot existing Drupal applications. PHP & Backend Development: Build and maintain custom PHP applications and backend services. Develop database-driven web functionality using MySQL or MariaDB. Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code with PHP (preferably with OOP and MVC frameworks like Symfony or Laravel). Implement unit testing and debugging techniques for reliable software delivery. Collaboration & Workflow: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and QA engineers. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Use Git for version control, following GitFlow or trunk-based workflows. Write technical documentation for code, configurations, and deployments. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: Strong experience in Drupal 8/9/10 site building, module development, and theming. Proficient in PHP 7+ , MySQL , HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery. Experience with Drupal APIs (Form API, Entity API, Database API). Familiarity with Composer , Drush , and Drupal Console . Understanding of RESTful services , JSON , and OAuth integrations. Proficient in version control systems, especially Git . Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and cloud hosting platforms (optional but preferred). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented and committed to writing clean, efficient code.
