Job Purpose:

To cultivate students’ creativity, self-expression, and confidence through theatre arts. The Drama Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in drama, theatre performance, and stagecraft while encouraging participation in school productions and events.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Deliver drama lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and CBSE guidelines (where applicable)
✔ Develop students’ performance skills including acting, voice modulation, expression, improvisation, and stage presence✔ Organize and direct annual school plays, assemblies, skits, and special performances✔ Prepare students for inter-school competitions, dramatics clubs, and other cultural events✔ Foster creativity, teamwork, and confidence-building activities within the classroom✔ Incorporate modern teaching aids, audio-visual tools, and interactive theatre exercises✔ Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback✔ Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate drama across subjects where relevant✔ Maintain discipline, safety, and an inclusive environment for all learners✔ Encourage student participation in literary and cultural activities beyond the classroom

Key Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Performing Arts, Theatre, Drama, or a related discipline
✔ Certification or professional training in theatre or drama education (preferred)✔ Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Drama Teacher or Theatre Facilitator, preferably in CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE schools✔ Strong knowledge of acting techniques, stage direction, production management, and script development✔ Excellent communication skills with fluency in English✔ Creative, patient, and able to inspire students across age groups✔ Passion for cultural activities, event coordination, and promoting performing arts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
