Job Summary:

Dispatch Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch Management:

  Oversee the timely dispatch of chemical products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring that deliveries meet deadlines and client specifications.

• Compliance & Safety:

  Ensure that all shipments comply with regulatory requirements, including transportation of hazardous materials, labeling, and safety documentation (e.g., SDS - Safety Data Sheets).

• Logistics Coordination:

  Collaborate with production, warehouse, and transport teams to schedule and dispatch products efficiently, minimizing delays.

• Documentation:

  Prepare and maintain dispatch records, delivery reports, shipping manifests, and compliance documentation.

• Inventory Management:

  Work closely with the inventory team to track stock levels and ensure that required products are available for dispatch.

• Customer Communication:

  Coordinate with customers, sales teams, and drivers to provide delivery updates, resolve issues, and handle any special requirements for chemical shipments.

• Vehicle Management:

  Track vehicle performance, schedules, and safety compliance, ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained and fit for transporting chemical goods.

• Problem-Solving:

  Address any logistical or delivery issues, such as delays or damaged goods, and implement corrective actions promptly.

• Reporting:

  Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and any challenges faced.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualification:

  Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:

  13 years of experience in a dispatch or logistics role within the

  chemical industry

  or a related field.

• Knowledge of Chemical Regulations:

  Familiarity with regulations governing the transport of hazardous chemicals, including

  IMDG Code

  ,

  ADR

  ,

  DOT

  , and

  ISO

  standards.

• Safety Awareness:

  Strong knowledge of safety protocols when handling and dispatching chemical products, including knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and emergency response procedures.

• Communication Skills:

  Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for coordinating with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

• Technical Proficiency:

  Familiar with
