Key Learning Areas & Responsibilities 1. Recruitment and Onboarding SUPPORT Post job listings on portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.). Screen resumes as per given filters. Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars. Assist in drafting offer letters and welcome emails. Help in planning induction/orientation sessions. 2. Training & Development COORDINATION Coordinate logistics for training sessions (scheduling, invites, attendance). Collect feedback post-training and update reports. Help create basic training content/slides. 3. HR Administration – DATA ENTRY & E-DOCUMENTATION Enter employee data into HRMS. Assist in policy document formatting and distribution. 4. Compliance – SUPPORT TASKS Assist in preparing documentation for audits. Help update compliance checklists and trackers. Learn about basic statutory laws under HR guidance. 5. Payroll – BASIC DATA COLLECTION Collect attendance reports or leave data. Ensure forms like bank details/PAN/Aadhar are submitted. 6. HR Projects – PARTICIPATE Support with surveys (employee satisfaction, exit). Assist in CSR or engagement programs. Work on creating PPTs or dashboards under guidance. 7. Benefits Administration – COORDINATION Help with enrollment forms or claims processing communication. Update internal FAQs or help documents related to benefits. About Role: Executive - People & Culture Brief Profile Snapshot: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager People & Culture to join our team. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various functions, with a focus on providing generalist HR support across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Roles and responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial interviews. Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters. Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflicts, complaints, and disciplinary actions, in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning. Assist in conducting performance reviews, providing feedback to managers and employees, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Assist in the development and implementation of training initiatives to support employee growth and development. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Assist in the administration of benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations. Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, such as employee handbooks, policies, and procedures. Compliance: Stay up to date on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Assist in conducting audits and assessments to ensure HR practices are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Payroll Processing: Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end payroll processing cycle, including collecting and verifying timekeeping information (Attendance), calculating wages and deductions, and processing payroll transactions accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of payroll processing. Review and audit payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures and standards. HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to payroll processing. Assist with internal and external payroll audits, providing documentation and support as needed. Identify and address compliance issues, errors, and discrepancies in payroll processing. Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits, ensuring accurate and timely payroll deductions and contributions. Coordinate with benefits providers and vendors to ensure smooth administration of employee benefits programs. Competencies: End to end HR Domain Knowledge. Interpersonal Skills. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
