About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrical Design Engineer with 1+ years specialized in design, development, and implementation for Substation design. The ideal candidate involves themselves in creating detailed design plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You are expected to do: Manage the complete lifecycle of Substation Design with minimal supervision. This includes project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Develop detailed Electrical Designs for Substation, including Sizing Calculation, control & protection schemes, Component/Equipment selection, substation layout drawings etc. Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ANSI/IEEE, NEC, NESC, UL, IEC). Implement safety measures and conduct quality checks. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, reports and user manuals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients. You will be a great fit if you have: 1+ years of relevant work experience with B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering. Experience in designing SLD/3-lines/Protection schematics for Substations, substation GA & layout. Sound knowledge in Breaker sizing, Cable sizing, Busbar sizing, cable routing etc. Hands on experience with ANSI, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NEMA and UL standards-Preferred Experience in electrical component selection and BOM preparation. Knowledge of various Protection Schemes is preferred. Experience in Load Flow/Short Circuit/Arc Flash Analysis is an added advantage. What we offer: Competitive Salary-Higher than market standards.
