Job Description

As a Derivative Services professional with 4 to 6 years of experience, your main duties will revolve around handling assigned tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion. It is crucial to follow up or escalate issues as necessary and assist junior team members by acting as a go-to expert. Your ability to manage daily tasks effectively and seek support when required will be key in resolving issues related to stock or cash differences promptly. Taking ownership of additional tasks or projects and delivering them on schedule is essential in this role. You should be responsive to client and team queries, adhering to all rules and procedures with honesty and care to minimize risk. By sharing and supporting ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality, you will contribute positively to the team environment. Continuous learning is a crucial aspect of this role, as you should always seek to deepen your understanding of transaction processes. Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance daily operations and effectively planning work, even when priorities shift, are qualities that will set you apart. Confidence in making routine decisions and seeking help on complex matters, along with meeting deadlines consistently and managing time effectively, are important skills required for success. As a mentor and guide to junior team members, you should possess end-to-end knowledge of asset management and be adept at problem-solving with risk awareness. Maintaining organization, knowing when to delegate, being open to feedback, and committing to continuous improvement are traits that will aid in your success. Effective communication, strong relationship-building with global teams and partners, quick adaptation to changes, and support for innovation are also vital in this role. In terms of knowledge and experience, it is essential to have experience using the Aladdin platform and tools such as CTM, CLS, and SWIFT. A solid understanding of global markets, derivatives, collateral management, and trade operations across asset types is crucial. Familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards, corporate actions, income processing, and operational risks in transaction and asset lifecycle is also required. Experience with OTC derivatives, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are considered nice-to-have skills. Your expertise in transaction management, trade finance operations, and derivatives will be valuable assets in this role.,
