The Data Engineer is responsible for maintaining and expanding data workflows, exporting clinical data and creating complex reports, designing, uploading and maintaining report objects in the Companys online report platform.
Receives business and technical requirements, provides subject-matter expertise, analyzes and implements data engineering techniques
Writes and optimizes complex SQL scripts
Develops ETL procedures from sources of various data formats to MariaDB/MySQL databases
Manages and maintains Databases
Works closely with Data Managers on advanced Analytics
Develops, sets up and maintains report objects and dashboards in the online BI platform
Surveys and recommends site scalability scenarios and upgrades
Designs and develops OLAP cubes and reports
Prepares documentations and specifications
Collaborate with other team members
Complies with the Company's Quality and Information Security Management Systems and applicable national and international legislation, including legislation for data protection
Required: BSc in Informatics or Computer Science and Engineering
Desired: MSc in Data Science
Required: 3 years working experience in similar disciplines
