Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Location: Plant, Khatraj Chokdi, Kalol Road, Ahmedabad Position Type: Apprenticeship Duration: 1 year, Convertible based on performance Roles and Responsibilities Conduct research activities under the guidance of Principal Investigators (PIs) to develop new products and processes. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CA Inter professional with a strong background in internal audit, accounting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in internal controls, accounting practices, and regulatory compliance, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or a related manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Internal Audit: Conduct end-to-end internal audits , risk assessments, and compliance reviews across departments (Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, R&D, etc.). Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and recommend improvements in business processes. Review and report on the effectiveness of SOPs, and ensure operational and financial efficiency. Identify gaps or non-compliance and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Participate in plant audits , inventory audits , and GMP-compliance reviews (if applicable). Accounting & Compliance: Assist in preparation and review of books of accounts in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards . Support month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act , and industry-specific regulations (e.g., DPCO, if applicable). Assist in coordination and facilitation of statutory audits and tax audits. Maintain updated knowledge of statutory changes relevant to the pharma sector. Desired Skills & Qualifications: CA Inter (Both groups cleared preferred) 36 years of experience in internal audit , accounting, and compliance. Strong domain exposure in pharmaceutical or manufacturing companies is highly preferred. In-depth understanding of audit methodologies , process controls , and risk assessment . Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel . Sound knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS , and pharma sector regulations . Excellent analytical, communication, and report writing skills. Ability to work independently with a problem-solving mindset.
