Job description for Staff Nurse Your job responsibilities are as under:- 1. In coordination with the Doctor use various diagnostic methods to evaluate the nature of illness/disease and recommend for further evaluation/treatment at the preferred hospital. 2. Provide necessary First Aid in case of emergency and involve in immediate evacuation to the hospital in coordination with the Unit Manager/Staff. 3. Demonstrate good nursing care and attitude towards the job and ensure all members of the nursing team follow the same. 4. Provide only necessary and validated medical information to the patients, care givers and their families. 5. Assist in dispensing medicine and fulfilling the treatment procedure of the patients, as prescribed by the doctor. 6. Having the team ready for any emergency evacuation and rehearse them first aid process and procedures. 7. Proficient handling of medical records and other files related to hospital management. 8. Adhere to the policies and procedures laid down in the standard operating procedure of Covai Senior Citizens Services Pvt Ltd. 9. You must always be willing to work extra hours when needed. 10. Discharge any other duties assigned by the unit manager and ensure on time completion and reporting. 11. Ensure equipment’s and instruments are sterilised /Autoclaved regularly. 12. Attend and escort patients to the hospital for emergency and periodic review if required. 13. Attend and take prompt action in case of any medical emergency or distress call by any resident and pre information to the management when required. 14. To actively involved in the preventive Health Care Coordination with Covaicare and ensure good Health of the residents. 15. To Inspect Rooms and Common Areas for Cleanliness on daily basis everyday recorded register to be submitted to the Resident Manager. 16. To respond to client complaints on timely basis and take necessary action on same with knowledge of Unit Manager. 17. As part the wellness initiative benefiting the resident actively involve in organising and wellness programs for the site residents. 18. To provide proper healthcare and comfort within the site and ensure that the same is maintained of all times.
