What You Will Do Reporting to the Supervisor, Environmental Services, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to enhance the well-being of the individuals and communities we serve. Your key responsibilities will include: Perform cleaning to maintain a hospital clean environment using infection control practices Clean and maintain floors and carpets, including deep care such as stripping, resealing and shampooing Perform specialized cleaning for isolation, outbreaks, and precautionary situations Safely handle and dispose of waste, including recycling Complete deep cleaning projects (e.g., walls, windows, admissions/discharges) Perform basic home maintenance and repairs Laundry duties including gathering, sorting and processing linens and personal clothing Assist with resident care activities as needed What You Will Bring We are looking for someone who shares our passion for helping people live their best lives and brings: Secondary School Diploma or equivalent Environmental Services for Frontline Staff course through the Canadian Healthcare Housekeepers Association, or willingness to complete within 3 months of hire Experience cleaning, preferably in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of infection control best practices.
