About the Role: We are looking for an eloquent, persuasive proposal writer to join our team in creating proposals. The proposal writer's responsibilities include gathering information, formatting the information according to the company's policies, obtaining supervisor approval, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source. To be successful as a proposal writer, you should be articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. Ultimately, a top-notch proposal writer should be consistent, detail-oriented, and able to write in a factual, convincing manner. Key Responsibilities (What you'll be expected to do): Assist our existing RFP Proposal Engine team in various aspects of submitting bids to end-clients in the US. Write proposal content, including technical sections, management and staffing sections, resumes, and executive summaries. Editing and revising proposals according to feedback. Maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies. Review and analyze RFP questions/ presentations (pitchbooks) to determine key project requirements. You will join a tight knit group of key contributors who are actively working together to achieve aggressive goals and meet timelines to drive the business forward. Prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines. Liaises with executive leadership and sales professionals throughout the process, ensuring clear communication. Attending meetings and identifying opportunities for proposal writing. Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding objectives as it relates to Performance, Productivity, Efficiency, and Quality standards. Giving presentations to the executive board. Freshers are OK. Key attributes (What we look for in candidates): Only candidates with strong writing, data-analysis, research skills need apply. Proven technical writing skills and track record of creating compelling, clear, concise and succinct documents. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, effortless soft-skills & people handling interpersonal skills; Strong organizational skills: The ability to multi-task, set priorities and work well under pressure; Excellent computer skills & attention to detail. Good strategic planning abilities, ability to meet deadlines. Judgement & decision making – Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution & solve problems. Strong integrity, value-system & ethics; APTITUDE & ATTITUDE are both critical in the search for the right candidate. Teaching /Tutoring English experience is a plus. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree liberal arts such as English, Journalism and other writing heavy coursework. Masters in English is also welcome (not essential) – creative, astute, with a flair for writing expressively.
