Job Summary:

Finance Claims Payments Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Process and authorize claims payments in accordance with financial policies and regulatory standards.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of claims payments with accounting systems.
Monitor payment cycles, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in coordination with internal teams.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Collaborate with claims adjusters, finance controllers, and external vendors to streamline payment processes.
Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and financial reviews.
Support automation and process improvement initiatives related to claims payments.
Generate financial reports and dashboards for senior management.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
46 years of experience in finance operations, with a focus on claims payments or disbursements.
Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliation processes, and payment systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial ERP systems (e.g., SUN, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
