You should have a B.E. in Electronics along with a Diploma or Degree in Management to qualify for this position. With 10 to 12 years of experience, candidates who have managed or handled smart city projects/ITS/LED projects are preferred. As a part of your role, you will be responsible for Global Product Design Engineering and Validation. You will need to take ownership of POCs, Demos, trainings, PPAP, CFD, processes for Quality Manufacturing while ensuring conformance to pre-defined technical specifications. This includes developing mechanical drawings for products, including aspects like wiring harnesses and fitment, as well as reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Key competencies required for this role include knowledge of quality standards such as TS 16949 & ISO-9001/ISO-9002 and ISO-9000/TS 16949. You should have a strong understanding of corporate culture and critical relationships within companies across various departments. Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills with both external and internal teams are essential. Familiarity with PPAP, Wiring Harness, APQP, PFMEA, leading technical meetings with Customers, and organizing Cross-Discipline technical reviews are also important.
