Chartered Accountant

As an integral part of Taxmann's Research & Advisory Team of Indirect Tax, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise as a Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience to contribute significantly to our team. Your role will involve a deep understanding and practical application of GST law, along with experience in advisory, litigation, audit, annual return finalization, and addressing various GST-related issues. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating on the creation of practice documents covering a wide range of GST topics, such as industry-specific application of GST provisions and addressing ongoing issues within the realm of GST law. You will also play a crucial role in staying abreast of the latest statutory and judiciary updates related to Indirect tax laws and translating this knowledge into Taxmann's practice documents. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in providing Indirect Tax Advisory and Litigation support, tackling intricate queries encompassing classification issues, contract reviews, and other concerns pertaining to GST, Customs, among others. Your ability to prepare research papers and presentations on diverse concepts and ongoing challenges within GST laws will be instrumental in enhancing our knowledge-sharing initiatives. Ideal candidates for this role are those who have previously handled independent assignments, possess exceptional writing and communication skills, and exhibit a strong conceptual grasp of GST law.
