Camera Operator/Editor

We are seeking a skilled and creative Cameraman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating professional video cameras, understanding lighting techniques, and capturing high-quality footage for news, films, television, digital media, or corporate videos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate professional cameras to capture high-quality video footage.
• Set up and adjust lighting, camera angles, and sound equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other crew members to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
• Ensure proper framing, composition, and movement to enhance storytelling.
• Transport, set up, and dismantle camera equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of camera and related equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest camera technology, trends, and techniques.
• Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
• Follow safety guidelines while working on sets or outdoor locations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cameraman in film, television, news, or digital media production.
• Proficiency in operating DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, and broadcast cameras.
• Strong understanding of camera angles, composition, and lighting techniques.
• Familiarity with camera accessories such as gimbals, drones, tripods, and stabilizers.
• Knowledge of video formats, frame rates, and codecs.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and creative vision.
• Physical stamina for long hours of shooting, including outdoor and travel-based assignments.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A degree/diploma in cinematography, film production, or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with post-production software like After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc
• Knowledge of live broadcasting and multi-camera setups.
• Drone operation certification (if applicable).
