Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced CAM Programmer who can develop efficient machining programs for CNC/VMC machines, focusing on precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CAM software, machining processes, tooling selection, and GD&T standards. Responsibilities: Create CAM programs for CNC & VMC machines using software such as Mastercam, NX CAM, or similar. Optimize tool paths, machining sequences, and cycle time to ensure high-quality and cost-effective production. Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and fixturing methods. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, 3D models, and technical documents. Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability. Support first-article development and troubleshooting during trials and initial production runs. Update and maintain CAM documentation, tooling sheets, and setup sheets. Ensure adherence to aerospace manufacturing standards and safety procedures. Requirements: Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 3 to 8 years of relevant experience as a CAM programmer in aerospace or precision component manufacturing. Expertise in CAM software (Mastercam, NX CAM, SolidCAM, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes, tooling, and fixtures. Experience in programming for multi-axis machining (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis preferred). Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) is a plus. Good understanding of GD&T and ability to work from complex technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
