Job Summary: A skilled Contract Manager is required to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts in construction projects from tendering and negotiation to execution and closeout. The role ensures compliance, manages risk, documents variations, and maintains strong vendor and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and manage contracts, BOQs, and technical/commercial terms. Float tenders, evaluate bids, and lead vendor/contractor negotiations. Issue LOIs, Work Orders, and Agreements with accurate and enforceable terms. Monitor project progress and enforce milestone compliance and deliverables. Identify and document scope, quantity, drawing, and approval changes that may lead to claims. Track delays, disruptions, or owner-side negligence for potential claims. Maintain all project documentation, including correspondence and change orders. Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology and contractual clauses. Coordinate across departments (legal, finance, engineering, site) for contract alignment. Ensure contractor compliance with statutory obligations (PF, ESI, insurance, etc.). Use ERP/SAP systems for contract tracking, billing, and reporting. Archive key project records in a searchable digital repository. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction law, claims, and project finance. Proven ability to manage scope changes, claims, and contract deviations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills. Proficient in ERP/SAP and MS Office tools. Highly organized with a strong eye for detail.

• Need in-depth knowledge of accounting & statutory compliance more specifically for construction, contracting, real estate, land transactions, rental/leasing verticals. • Lead accounts department by ensuring the data entry to compliance filing of daily, weekly and monthly audits conducted. • Understand taxation and adapt to new tax laws from time to time regarding Income Tax, GST, PF/ESI and other taxes applicable for the business. • Ability to read and understand the latest trends in tax optimizations measures. • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards. • Promptly reply and attend to notices including ability to attend hearing and face to face meetings with authorities. • Good understanding of Cost Accounting and able to structure the accounting process to align with day-to-day operations for better MIS reporting. • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process. • Working knowledge and understanding accounting software. • Broad understanding of banking procedures and meet compliance documentation with accounting team for timely submissions to banks / NBFC. • Ability to do basic communication and coordinate with bankers for fund raising including international financing. • Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies (optional). • Basic understanding of banking instruments (mutual funds, fixed deposits, etc.) to optimize best use of surplus group funds. • Preparation of DPR and DFR. • Supervise and mentor accounting team members, providing guidance and support for professional development. • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the department. • Conduct review meetings on a daily, weekly basis and take responsibility for the entire team using task tool and technology/process driven approach. • Knowledge of international taxation or ability to grasp/read on international finance and taxations. • More particular knowledge or ability to learn about US taxes. • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate forecasts. • Prepare regular financial forecasts and variance analysis reports. • Assess capital allocation decisions and make recommendations to maximize returns and shareholder value. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Evaluate investment opportunities in infrastructure and real estate projects including due diligence co-ordination and risk assessments. • Develop and manage financial models/capital budgeting to support strategic decision-making pertaining to new ventures/acquisitions, diversifications, joint venture deals, etc. • Conduct financial analysis of investment opportunities, projects, diversifications and potential acquisitions. • Expertise in Cash flow Statements, IRR, NPV and capital budgeting. • DPR/DFR with potential partners, Landlords/Govts, etc. • Basic understanding of legal framework relevant to group businesses. • Be able to draft basic legal responses, review legal paperwork and monitor/coordinate legal issues through legal professionals. • Preparing draft rental agreement, review contract agreements of rents, construction, etc. • Decent English communication skills for representing company with bankers, investors, consultants, etc. • An ability to prepare technical presentations for investors and clients with assistance of communications team and draft letters as per need. • The ability to work in fast paced start-up sort of ecosystem being a fast growing and diversifying organization. • Diligent self-driven and motivated to involve in business development of organization into diverse ventures. • Commitment to honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct in all endeavors. • Cultural fit to our organization (Fast growing and family).
