Role Overview: An international sales representative for a manufacturing company is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sales in foreign markets. They build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and negotiate contracts, while also staying informed about market trends and competitor activities. They may also need to travel internationally for client meetings and trade shows. Key Responsibilities: Market Research and Opportunity Identification Conduct research to identify potential international markets and analyze competitor activities. Evaluate market dynamics, economic trends, and regulatory frameworks in target countries. Identify and assess new business opportunities based on market potential and alignment with company objectives. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, both domestically and internationally. Understand client needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions and support. Regularly communicate with clients to address concerns, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction. Sales Strategy Development and Execution Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to specific international markets, considering cultural nuances and local regulations. Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials. Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and logistics, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, both written and verbal. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback. Sales Performance and Reporting Monitor sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights into market trends and opportunities. Contribute to the company's overall revenue targets and growth objectives. Travel Travel to international markets for client meetings, trade shows, and networking events. Adapt to different cultural environments and communication styles while representing the company. About the Role As a Sales Operations Executive, you will act as the critical bridge between the Sales team and the Operations/Supply Chain/Manufacturing teams. You will support front-end sales by ensuring that customer requirements are translated smoothly into production and delivery, enabling seamless execution and excellent client experience. Key Responsibilities • Sales Coordination Provide support to Sales and KAM teams in terms of RFQ creation , Purchase order , Sales order , Design coordination , Sampling and other internal coordination with Finance , Ops and marketing team . Work closely with the sales team to understand client orders, specifications, and delivery expectations. Review and validate sales orders before handing over to production and operations teams. • Internal Communication & Handover Serve as the liaison between sales, supply chain, and manufacturing. Coordinate lead times, order tracking, stock availability, and delivery schedules. Ensure all departments are aligned on customer priorities and timelines. • Client Support (Back-End) Provide real-time updates to the sales team or clients on order status, delays, or changes. Help resolve any operational issues affecting fulfillment or dispatch. • Process Monitoring & Reporting Track sales orders from confirmation to delivery. Maintain order management trackers and prepare periodic reports on sales ops performance, turnaround time, etc. • Support Tools & Documentation Maintain updated pricing, SKU catalogs, and order templates. Ensure all documentation is accurate and filed correctly (invoices, dispatch notes, etc.). Ideal Candidate Profile 4-6 years of experience in sales coordination, sales ops, or customer service in a manufacturing, packaging, or product-based company. Strong understanding of order fulfilment, supply chain basics, and internal process coordination. Excellent communication, follow-up, and organization skills. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, ERP or order-tracking tools is a plus. Solution-focused and, deliver under pressure.
