Looking for a Billing and Planning Engineer (immediate joiner)

Candidate would be responsible for preparing project billing and planning.

Role :Billing and Planning Engineer

Location: Mundra(Gujarat)

Exp: 3 to 6 years

Industry: Construction

Projects: Preference will be given to petrochemical/oil and gas/Refinery/Thermal power plant projects exp candidates.

• Preparing Bills

• Creating and verifying bills for work completed, including RA bills, client bills, and subcontractor bills.

• Quantity Estimation and Verification.

• Ensuring accurate quantity surveying of civil materials and work, and verifying these quantities against contract documents.

• Cost Analysis and Budget Management:

• Analyzing costs, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial constraints.

• Material Reconciliation

• Tracking material usage, verifying invoices, and ensuring accurate material reconciliation to prevent overspending.

• Site Inspections:

• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, identify any issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Client Billing and Payment

• Preparing client invoices, managing payments, and ensuring timely and accurate client billing.

• Change Order Management

• Managing change orders, verifying their impact on project costs and timelines, and ensuring they are accurately reflected in billing

• Documentation and Record Keeping

• Maintaining detailed records of work progress, costs, and quality assurance, including preparing and submitting billing reports.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

  Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD,SAP, ERP systems).

• Analytical Skills:

  Ability to analyze cost data, identify variations, and prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  Effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Organizational Skills:

  Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines.

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
