Backend Tech Lead

As a Senior Backend Lead at our company, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript. Your expertise in AWS will be essential in architecting and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as developing cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB. In this role, you will guide and mentor junior team members, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance for backend components, and ensure adherence to software engineering standards and best practices. Your strong communication and team mentoring skills will be crucial as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver business-critical solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of backend development experience with a leadership track record, deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and the AWS ecosystem, as well as strong API development experience in REST and GraphQL. Experience with cloud-native architectures and services, along with the ability to work independently and solve complex problems, are also must-have skills for this role. While not required, prior experience working in fast-paced startup environments and exposure to DevOps practices or serverless architecture patterns would be considered a plus.
