Position Overview:

Autodesk is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Enterprise Systems & Experience organization. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in providing prompt and high-quality support to our internal product development teams by maintaining cloud DevOps platforms. You will work with other teams including IT, Operations and Product Engineering, in maintaining internal DevOps platform of Autodesk products.

This Job workplace type will be Hybrid and Job base location is Bangalore.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Engage with internal clients to understand their product build process and consumption.

• Build and Maintain Build Distribution system serving across multi-Cloud and Data Center locations.

• Manage platform infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and Data Center. • Provide Autodesk product teams support with Global Build Distribution.

• Maintain documentation and diagrams outlining automated solutions and build architecture.

Skills and Experience (Required)

• A masters or bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, with an excellent academic record.

• A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience in supporting production systems on Azure and AWS Cloud, as well as within data center environments.

• Strong scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

• Proficient in Azure and AWS Cloud Environments. • Expertise with Azure services, particularly Compute and Network options, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure CDN, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure WAF.

• Hands-on proficiency with management and administration of Azure and AWS Container Services including AKS, EKS, Azure Container Storage and Registry. • Hands on with AWS services - EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, ASG.

• Skilled in managing Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux environments.

• Hands on with IAC (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Source Code Management tools (GitHub, etc.)

• Hands on experience with MySQL with ability to write and debug complex queries with JOIN.

• Experience with working with APIs and management tools like Postman, Swagger.

• Experience with monitoring and BI tools like Grafana and Cloud Watch.

• Familiar with software engineering practices, AGILE, DevOps methodologies.

• Project & collaboration Management Systems (JIRA, Confluence Wiki).

Skills and Experience (Preferred)

• Experience with Observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, Fluent Bit, Dynatrace.

• Experience with Hybrid Cloud Storage Solutions.

• Continuous integration/deployment tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps suite)

• Authoring pipelines and everything-as-cod
