Cognizant is hiring for AWS cloud security role at Chennai location.

Job Details:

• Role: AWS - Cloud security, AWS Cloud ,AWS DevOps

• Experience: 5 to 7 Years

• Job Location: Chennai

• Mode of Interview: Virtual (only for shortlisted candidates)

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and best practices for AWS cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and guidelines in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and threat modeling for AWS native applications and infrastructure.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies including least privilege principles using AWS IAM, AWS Organizations, and AWS SSO.
• Configure and manage AWS native security tools such as AWS Security Hub, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Inspector.
• Develop automated security monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and other relevant services.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and third-party security tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks (e.g., CIS AWS Foundations, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Conduct security training and awareness sessions for developers and cloud engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Assist in the design and review of secure cloud architectures and infrastructure as code (IaC) templates (Terraform, CloudFormation).
