AVP Sourcing Manager

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Sourcing Manager at Barclays in Noida, you will be at the forefront of driving the evolution of the digital landscape, focusing on innovation and excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize cutting-edge technology to transform our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Your role will involve overseeing various aspects such as regulatory remediation and third-party controls contract work. In regulatory remediation, you will be incorporating regulatory terms into contracts for activities like OCIR, Data Transfer Agreements, Data Privacy, and country-specific local conditions. You will manage the end-to-end execution of projects, prepare and share periodic reports with stakeholders, and present project journeys to ensure successful delivery within regulatory timelines. Additionally, you will contribute individually to contract remediation for Barclays" third-party Supplier Control Obligations (SCOs). This will involve negotiating contract schedules related to third-party vendor engagement risks, providing support to stakeholders in Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Business, and escalating risks to stakeholders when necessary to facilitate contract execution. Desirable skills for this role include a strong understanding of processes to identify improvement opportunities and the ability to present ideas to senior stakeholders for execution. You will also be assessed on critical skills such as Negotiations, Stakeholder Management, and job-specific skillsets relevant to the position. Your primary purpose will be to optimize Barclays" third-party spend requirements by defining, developing, and implementing approaches for relevant spend categories and requirements. This will involve collaborating closely with the business, executing strategic sourcing, and developing buying channel optimization strategies. As an AVP Sourcing Manager, you will lead a team and be responsible for advising, influencing decision-making, and contributing to policy development. You will collaborate with other functions/business divisions and ensure operational effectiveness.
