Position: AVP Design Management (India & APAC)

Reporting to: Vice President – Corporate Real Estate

Team Size: India: 45

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Design Management professional to lead and oversee the design execution of Company’s’ real estate facilities across India and APAC. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep understanding of architectural and interior design processes, and prior experience in managing large-scale projects for multinational clients, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Oversight:

Oversee the entire design lifecycle of Company’s’ facilities, from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with global and regional standards.

Architect & Consultant Coordination:

Manage appointment, onboarding, and performance of architectural partners. Ensure adherence to project scope, design quality, industry benchmarks, and Company’s’ internal design guidelines.

Project Governance:

Ensure timely and quality delivery of design packages in line with project schedules and budgets.

Standards & Compliance:

Ensure all designs comply with Company’s’ global workplace standards and regional construction norms.

Leadership & People Management:

Lead design management teams across India and APAC (total ~45 team members), ensuring smooth collaboration, mentorship, and project ownership.

Portfolio Coverage:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously across PAN India and the APAC region.

Stakeholder Management:

Act as a key interface between internal stakeholders, project teams, and external partners including architects, contractors, and consultants

Preferred Qualifications:

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design

Experience:

13–16 years of relevant experience, with a strong track record in design management, preferably in MNC environments or banking/financial services real estate portfolios.
