Automation Test Lead

Job Description

Job Role & Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of automation testers to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Develop and execute automated test scripts for Mobile (Android/iOS) and API testing using Java-based tools (Appium, RestAssured, Selenium, etc.). Define automation strategy, best practices, and ensure high test coverage for functional and regression testing. Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Product teams to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for continuous testing. Perform root cause analysis of defects and improve test automation stability. Review test cases, scripts, and results to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and implement improvements. Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation with a focus on Mobile & API testing . Strong expertise in Java for automation scripting. Experience with Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG/JUnit, Postman . Knowledge of Mobile testing tools (Espresso, XCUITest) and API testing tools . Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) is a plus. Experience in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
