Assistant Manager - Production

Job Description

Job Purpose: The role holder is responsible for carrying out production planning, complying with the standards (food safety & Job safety) and company policies. Principal Accountabilities: To execute production planning, complying with the quality standards along with customer specifications. Responsible for monitoring the utilization of utilities (steam, water, electricity) effectively. To maintain the accountability of stock (raw materials, packaging materials), utility consumption and the production details. Responsible for managing the manpower effectively, for improving the productivity. Responsible for tracing any deviations and to establish the corrective & preventive action. Responsible for ensuring the sanitation procedure of equipment, work tools, and work environment. To educate the workforce about the GMP practices, Food safety, teamwork etc. To have control on documents and records. Responsible to provide reliable and accurate data during the stock closure or during the audits. Key Interactions: Internal: Operator, Assistant Operator & CL Effectively handle the staff to sustain & improve the productivity objective. Internal: Quality- Coordinate with the quality team to out produce standard products through standard processing. Internal: SAP Team Communicate the production accountability details and to maintain the same. Qualification & Experience : Educational qualifications: B. Tech/ M. Sc/ M. Tech, Food Technology/Dairy Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Science/ Dairy Science; B.Sc. Food and Nutrition (4 years). Experience : 6 to 8 Years in Food Processing Knowledge: Knowledge on Dairy Processing Knowledge on Production planning, men and material utilization. Knowledge in FSMS, QMS, Health & Work safety Skills: Managerial Skills Co-ordination Skills and Communication Skills. Planning and Organizing Skills Interpersonal Skills & Positive Attitude Additional requirement: Soft Skills: MS Office, SAP Basics Ready to travel extensively Ready to relocate
