Assistant Manager-Legal- Head Office

Key Legal and Compliance Responsibilities:
• Manage the filing, renewal, and protection of trademark and copyright applications and
registrations to ensure the company's' intellectual property is fully secured.
• Monitor and take appropriate legal action against trademark infringements or violations to
uphold brand integrity.
• Ensure complete legal compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory frameworks,
including Trademarks Act, PPVFRA, and other relevant statutes, to safeguard the
company's interests.
• Handle civil litigation matters, including cheque bounce cases, and represent the
company in legal proceedings as required.
• Draft, review, and renew a wide range of legal agreements, including Non-Disclosure
Agreements (NDAs), vendor contracts, and service agreements.
• Prepare and formalize collaboration agreements with institutions and partners to facilitate
joint initiatives and strategic partnerships.
• Respond to and resolve legal notices issued by government departments, statutory
bodies, and consumer courts in a timely and effective manner.
• Liaise with government officials and statutory authorities, including those at Nabanna, to
ensure smooth coordination and compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Draft, implement, and regularly update internal legal policies, guidelines, and procedures
in alignment with legal and operational standards.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, including the Seed Act, Labor Laws, and
the Companies Act, to mitigate legal risks and maintain regulatory integrity.

Candidate's Profile

Qualification- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) OR Master's Degree (LLM)

Experience -5-6yrs in seed /Agri input industry /FMCG Industry
