Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Create and analyse financial accounts, reports, and budgets.
  • Conduct audits to guarantee regulatory compliance and internal controls.
  • Offer individuals and corporations tax planning, compliance, and advising services.
  • Provide clients with risk management solutions and strategic financial guidance.
  • Participate in company restructuring, acquisitions, and mergers.
  • Keep up-to-date financial documents and accounting records.
  • Keep up with any changes to tax laws, accounting rules, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Work together to resolve financial difficulties and concerns with clients, coworkers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining organized and compliant records of all GST-related documents, such as invoices, receipts, and other financial records, in accordance with applicable GST laws and regulations.
  • GST planning: Analyzing and interpreting GST laws, regulations, and updates to provide strategic guidance to the business on potential impacts, planning for changes in GST rates or regulations, and optimizing GST compliance and reporting.
  • GST registration: Assisting businesses in obtaining GST registration, including preparing and submitting required documentation, coordinating with tax authorities, and ensuring timely registration.
  • GST accounting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to GST, including calculating and recording input tax credits, output tax liabilities, and other GST-related entries in the accounting system.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that the business complies with all applicable GST laws and regulations, including timely and accurate filing of periodic GST returns, payment of GST liabilities, and adherence to GST rates and exemptions.
  • Working closely with business and finance teams to ensure timely TDS compliances, support in TDS issues resolution and ensuring end-to-end control with respect to TDS/ TCS transactions incl. foreign remittances
  • Review and reconciliation of TDS/ TCS Liability payments and reasons for variances, ensuring the reconciling differences are resolved by close coordination/ collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
