Assistant Front End Developer

As an Assistant Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in bringing complex designs to life by utilizing clean, minimal, and maintainable code. Your primary focus will be on converting intricate UI/UX designs into responsive and performance-optimized web interfaces. This role requires you to work across various projects encompassing Shopify (Liquid), React-based applications, and static HTML/CSS websites. It is essential to maintain clean and structured code following in-house SOPs and coding standards while ensuring design consistency and cross-browser compatibility. Debugging and resolving issues across different devices and browsers will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with design and backend teams is key to success in this role. To excel in this position, you must demonstrate proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Working experience with at least one JavaScript framework, preferably React.js, is required. Familiarity with Shopify and Liquid templating, along with a strong attention to detail when implementing designs, is essential. An understanding of frontend performance and SEO basics, coupled with the ability to work with minimal libraries and write vanilla code, is crucial. Knowledge of Git and basic development workflows is also expected. Bonus skills, though not mandatory, include experience with TailwindCSS or utility-first CSS, familiarity with build tools and deployment flows, and exposure to design handoff tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
