Position: Architect (Construction Engineering Civil Works & Steel Structures)

Location: Chakan,Pune, Maharashtra, India

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architect with a strong background in designing and detailing pre-engineered buildings (PEBs), civil works, and steel structures. The ideal candidate will bring creative design expertise, technical knowledge, and practical understanding of construction practices to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for industrial and commercial projects.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and drawings for PEB and conventional steel structures, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
• Prepare and review architectural layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for civil and steel construction projects.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and fabrication teams to ensure design integration and technical feasibility.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into effective designs.
• Participate in value engineering to optimize designs for cost, material efficiency, and constructability.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and tender documentation related to architectural scope.
• Conduct site visits for design verification, construction supervision, and resolution of on-site technical issues.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with regulatory approvals and statutory requirements.
• Utilize design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools for project deliverables.
• Keep abreast of new trends, materials, and technologies in architectural and steel building design.

Preferred candidate profile

• Handled projects across manufacturing units, commercial complexes, and modern corporate office interiors
• Experience working with design-build teams, general contractors, and multidisciplinary consultants
• Exposure to sustainability design principles and green building practices.
• Experience working on industrial, warehouse, commercial, or logistics projects.
• Familiarity with 3D visualization and rendering software.
• Knowledge of local vendors, fabricators, and material suppliers in Pune and Maharashtra.
