Summary:The role includes managing infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep and Terraform, along with services like SCCM, WSUS, Azure Update Manager, and key infrastructure components such as DFS, Print Servers, Radius/NPS, DHCP, Antivirus Solutions (Symantec/McAfee), Microsoft Failover Cluster, Windows Network Load Balancing (NLB), FTP and SFTP, vulnerability remediation, and server hardening.Key Responsibilities:1.Azure IaaS Management:oDesign, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS services including Windows Server virtual machines, Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), Azure Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, Azure Managed Disks, and Azure Storage Accounts.oImplement and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), configure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Availability Sets, Availability Zones, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).2.Prominent Azure PaaS Services:oManage Azure App Service for hosting web applications and APIs with auto-scaling, patching, and high availability.oAdminister Azure Functions for serverless computing, creating event-driven workflows and scaling out serverless applications.3.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep and Terraform:oDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Bicep and Terraform for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.oImplement and manage deployments using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, and Terraform for consistent and repeatable infrastructure builds.4.Windows Server Management:oAdminister and maintain Windows Server environments (2022, 2019, 2016, 2012), both on-premises and in Azure.oConfigure and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, File/Print Services, and Failover Clustering.5.System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) & Windows Server Update Services (WSUS):oManage SCCM for automated software deployment, OS imaging, patch management, and compliance reporting across hybrid environments.oAdminister WSUS to manage Windows updates across both cloud and on-premises Windows Server environments, ensuring compliance and minimizing vulnerabilities.6.Distributed File System (DFS) & Print Server Management:oConfigure and manage DFS Namespaces (DFS-N) and DFS Replication (DFS-R) for resilient, high-performance file sharing across multiple locations.oMaintain Print Servers, ensuring high availability and security for network printers.7.Radius/NPS (Network Policy Server):oDeploy and maintain Radius/NPS for centralized authentication of wireless networks, VPNs, and network access policies.oEnsure secure integration of Radius/NPS with other network devices and services, providing consistent authentication experiences.8.DHCP Management:oAdminister and maintain DHCP services for dynamic IP address allocation, lease management, and network reliability across cloud and on-premises environments.oEnsure failover configurations for DHCP and address IP conflicts promptly.9.Antivirus Solutions (Symantec/McAfee):oDeploy, manage, and monitor enterprise antivirus solutions such as Symantec Endpoint Protection and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).oImplement security policies to prevent, detect, and respond to threats in a timely manner.10.FTP and SFTP Management:oConfigure and maintain secure FTP and SFTP servers for internal and external file transfers.oEnsure encryption standards are applied, manage user permissions, and resolve connectivity or security issues.Skills and Experience:Required Technical

oStrong expertise in Azure IaaS services including virtual machines, networking, storage, and Azure-specific services such as Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and Azure Backup.oExtensive experience managing Windows Server environments (2022, 2019, 2016, 2012) both on-premises and in Azure.oProficiency in Bicep and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with experience in automating Azure resource deployment.oStrong knowledge of Azure PaaS services including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.oHands-on experience with SCCM and WSUS for patching, software deployment, and compliance across hybrid environments.oAdvanced knowledge of server hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.oExpertise in DFS, Print Servers, Radius/NPS, DHCP, Antivirus Solutions (Symantec/McAfee), Microsoft Failover Clustering, Windows NLB, FTP and SFTP.oProficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting.Preferred
Skills:oExperience with Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Backup, and disaster recovery planning for cloud and hybrid environments.oKnowledge of cloud-native monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Security Center.oFamiliarity with security frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).Experience Level:o4+ years of experience managing Azure IaaS, Windows Server, and hybrid infrastructure components.o2+ years of experience with SCCM, WSUS, PowerShell, Terraform, and Bicep.Education and Certification:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as:oMicrosoft Certified:Azure Administrator Associate.oMicrosoft Certified:Windows Server Administrator Associate.oMicrosoft Certified:DevOps Engineer Expert (for IaC focus).oTerraform Certification is a plus.
