Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify compliance trends, red flags, and potential risks. Develop and maintain dashboards/reports for compliance monitoring using tools like Tableau, etc. Automate recurring compliance reports and enhance data workflows for efficiency (can use Tableau Prep here) Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality while handling sensitive compliance datasets. Work closely with internal stakeholders for compliance team to understand regulatory requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Support investigations and audits with relevant data analysis and extracts. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficient in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions) for querying large compliance datasets across multiple systems. Experience in working with relational databases like Amazon RDS (underlying with PostgreSQL 8+) for working with cloud-hosted relational databases, SQL Server, or Oracle Ability to extract, clean, and transform raw compliance data into actionable insights. Hands-on experience with Tableau/ Power BI for building dashboards, trend reports, and visual risk indicators. Ability to design compliance scorecards, heatmaps, and exception reports to aid decision-making. Experience in integrating multiple data sources and applying user-level filters/permissions in dashboards. Strong command over advanced Excel: PivotTables, nested formulas, conditional formatting, array functions. Strong understanding of compliance, audit, or regulatory data domains (Insurance domain preferred). Excellent communication and management skills. Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail and timelines. Preferred not mandatory: Basic understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) roles, policies and permissions in a compliance context. Experience working with Amazon S3 for storing, organizing and retrieving compliance datasets securely.
