AEM/AEP Developer Longterm contract with Direct Client/No layers Location: Chennai DLF IT Park Please note: candidates with immediate to 45 days notice period ONLY Role Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer to own the end-to-end build-out of our Adobe Experience Platform stack. You will design and implement Real-Time CDP schemas and segments, stand up Customer Journey Analytics workspaces, configure Journey Optimizer campaigns, and integrate AEP with adjacent services and data sources. Youll work alongside data, marketing-technology, and product engineering teams to create unified profiles, orchestrate omnichannel journeys, and deliver actionable insights that fuel personalized experiences at scale. Key Responsibilities: * Real-Time CDP & Data Architecture * Model Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas, identities, and consent flags; configure batch and streaming ingestion pipelines and Edge Network data collection. * Create and optimize audience segments for B2C/B2B activation, enforcing data-governance rules. * Journey Orchestration * Build and launch real-time and scheduled campaigns in Adobe Journey Optimizer, including decisioning, offers, and channel execution (email, push, in-app, web). * Customer Journey Analytics * Deploy Analysis Workspace projects that stitch online/offline data, visualize funnels, attribution, and cohort behavior, and surface self-serve insights for stakeholders. * Integration & Activation * Develop REST/GraphQL services and destination connectors to sync AEP with CRM, ad/marketing platforms, and internal personalization engines; leverage Adobe Web/Edge SDKs where appropriate. * Quality, DevOps & Governance * Automate CI/CD for AEP configurations (GitOps approach), implement testing frameworks for XDM schemas/segments, and establish monitoring dashboards for profile-fill rate, segment qualification, and journey performance. * Champion privacy-by-design and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA throughout data flows. * Mentorship & Thought Leadership * Coach junior engineers and analysts on AEP best practices; contribute to the internal Center of Excellence and present learnings at company brown-bags and industry meetups. Minimum Qualifications: * 5+ years of engineering experience in marketing-technology or data-platform environments, including 2+ years hands-on with Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP, CJA, Journey Optimizer). * Strong proficiency in data-modeling, SQL, and one or more programming languages used for integrations (Python, Java, or Node.js). * Experience designing and operationalizing batch/streaming data pipelines (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) feeding AEP. * Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs that leverage AEP capabilities. * Deep familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, identity resolution, and first-party data governance. * Excellent communication skills and a servant-leadership mindset. Preferred Qualifications: * Adobe Certified Expert – Real-Time CDP Architect, Journey Optimizer Professional, or Customer Journey Analytics Architect. * Experience integrating Adobe AEP with AEM, Adobe Target, or non-Adobe personalization engines. * Exposure to machine-learning-based propensity or recommendation models using AEP Data Science Workspace. * Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). * Background working in scaled-Agile or DevOps organizations.
