Responsible for engineering design and modification activities related to electrical & electronic circuits, systems, and equipment. May involve the installation and operation & maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Discipline concerning power systems, electronic and transmission equipment, electric service and supply systems, lighting systems, communication service and supply systems, fire alarm and detection systems, control systems or electrical installations. Develop and mark up drawings, including grounding grid layouts, cross-sections, riser diagrams, and bonding drawings. Technical specifications of the elements Lightning Protection Design: Produce reports outlining solutions for each facility. Create calculation reports to validate results and meet compliance requirements Develop and Mark up drawings for lightning protection layouts and connections to main grounding grids. Define technical specifications for lightning protection elements. Ensure that technical and safety standards are maintained across all design activities tin order that successful project implementation and future reliability is achieved. Carry out risk assessments and provision of design information for Health and Safety file. Duties and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design and modification phase of projects. Performing assessment of bridges to National Highways and Network Rail Structural analysis and Design of Bridges and Viaduct Structures, Flyovers, Underpasses, Culverts and Retaining walls. Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes. Experience in road and/or rail projects with UK,Middle East and Australia projects. Excellent technical skills design. Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Highway/Railway environment. Able to work in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations. Must have good experience delivering Landscape Design/ Public Realm projects in the private or public sectors with domestic/international clients/stakeholders Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes. Supports business change management initiatives, recruits, trains, mentors, evaluates the department's staff, and assists the various disciplines in identifying and developing skills. Accountable for the project's budget for a the discipline of LS Architecture Peer review the team's work; take the lead on project design, project presentation, and client communication. Report on performance and compliance of staff and projects to management and provide mitigation plans where necessary. Attend creative landscape architecture project reviews and design sessions, steer project directions, deliver thought leadership presentations, and inspire peers and reports. Attend to project deliverables quality reviews when necessary report on any non-compliant project deliverables teams. Facilitate staff development of market-required skills through continuous reviews of new market trends. Work closely with the senior leadership to manage ongoing financial performance and projected financial plans. Manage bids and proposals, establish winning themes, and define differentiators. Develop and implement initiatives that can assist in expanding work assignments, scope, and accounts, including managing client relationships and expectations. Attend key client meetings and presentations and manage the stakeholders to the best interest of both the client and the company. Lead proposals as a capture lead and help build the pipeline of work to meet targets. Candidate should be able to assign work to junior team members and BIM technologists. Use business related software independently with ability to guide junior team members. Candidates should demonstrate competency in software, clear communications skills to gain understanding of the required tasks, quick and a methodical decision-making approach for the design & related tasks.
