Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role should be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing credit and debit notes in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. You will be required to reconcile customer/vendor accounts related to credit/debit notes and ensure the timely resolution of any discrepancies. It is essential to maintain proper documentation and approval trails for all credit and debit notes. Additionally, you will be assisting in the month-end and year-end close processes, which includes journal entries and account reconciliations. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to ensure the accuracy of financial records will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and provide support for internal and external audits by supplying schedules and supporting documentation. Collaboration with sales, procurement, and operations teams to resolve billing issues and implement process improvements will be crucial. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements is essential. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff is also part of this role. This is a full-time, permanent position. The benefits include cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and Provident Fund.
